Vayikra, 24 Adar 5778
March 11, 2018

The new month of Nissan (Aries) begins this Shabbat. Nissan is the time for us to break free. It is no coincidence that the Ram (Aries) is the sign for this month. We, like the ram, must break through the barriers that our ego sets for us and push ahead toward freedom. As Torah states, "this shall be for you the first of months." and therefore Nissan begins the Jewish calendar and the energy we connect to during this new month is freedom and renewal.  The first twelve days of the month of Nissan are very special. Each day represents a different month in the Jewish calendar. For these first twelve days, it is important for us to connect to the consciousness of each month and follow the tips so that we can be proactive.  During Nissan we will taste freedom and renewal at the Pesach seder, but really each day of this month we should strive for freedom and renewal on all levels.  May we be blessed to shatter the prisons our ego builds around us and experience the freedom our souls long for.

Shavua v'chodesh tov,

Next Kabbalah Study...
Our next Kabbalah Study will be on Monday, March 12, 2018. We will talk about the upcoming month of Nissan (Aries) and the first twelve days of Nissan.

The First Twelve Days of Nissan
The first twelve days of the month of Nissan are very special. Each day represents a different month in the Kabbalistic calendar. During these first twelve days, it is important for us to connect to the consciousness of each month and follow the tips so that we can be proactive. Our effort to be proactive on these first twelve days determines our success of being proactive for the whole year. Click Here for a handout with daily meditations for the Twelve Days of Nissan. The first day of Nissan begins on Shabbat, March 17, 2018.  For more information about the month of Nissan, visit our This Month's Energy page.

NEW Perek Shirah Page
Perek Shirah is an ancient text of unknown authorship, although many commentaries attribute it to King David. It takes the form of a list of eighty-four elements of the natural world. Everything in creation praises its Creator. The lessons can assist us on our journey. Rabbi Eliezer said, Anyone who involves themselves with Perek Shirah in this world, merits saying it in the next world. Kabbalah4All will be working on a new photo each week with a verse until we complete all 84. Click Here to go to our new Perek Shirah page.
Please Donate to Show Your Appreciation!
The word "tzedakah" in Hebrew means charity, but actually the word is derived from the root word which means righteousness, justice or fairness. Giving is not viewed as a generous act, it is simply an act of righteousness and justice. Tzedakah is in many ways an exchange of energy and is a visible expression of gratitude in this world for that which we have received. We rely on the generosity of others so that we may make our siddurim (prayer books) and other resources available for all, as well as continue to offer meaningful studies and inspiring services. Please help support our community by making a DONATION. We thank you in advance for your generosity.
