Vayera, 12 Cheshvan 5779
October 21, 2018

During Cheshvan we are doing the work of inner personal transformation. It is important as we do this work to assess those aspects of our lives where we tend to be negative, either towards ourselves or others. When holidays and festivals occur it is easy for us to be upbeat and positive about ourselves and the world around us. Cheshvan, however, has no holidays, no festivals. So how do we remove the doubt and negativity from our lives during a month without holidays? It is said that we have everything we need to be happy and content, and we do, it comes from deep within. It is important that we reach deep within during this month and connect to the spark of Creator's Light within our own souls. Once we realize that we are blessed with this spark of Light and connect to it, then removing doubt and negativity will be a breeze because we have found our inner joy and have activated it.

We Need Your Support
The word "tzedakah" in Hebrew means charity, but actually the word is derived from the root word which means righteousness, justice or fairness. Giving is not viewed as a generous act, it is simply an act of righteousness and justice. Tzedakah is in many ways an exchange of energy and is a visible expression of gratitude in this world for that which we have received. We rely on the generosity of others so that we may make our siddurim (prayer books) and other resources available for all, as well as continue to offer meaningful studies and inspiring services. Please help support our community by making a DONATION. We thank you in advance for your generosity.
NEW Perek Shirah Page
Perek Shirah is an ancient text of unknown authorship, although many commentaries attribute it to King David. It takes the form of a list of eighty-four elements of the natural world. Everything in creation praises its Creator. The lessons can assist us on our journey. Rabbi Eliezer said, Anyone who involves themselves with Perek Shirah in this world, merits saying it in the next world. Kabbalah4All will be working on a new photo each week with a verse until we complete all 84. Click Here to go to our new Perek Shirah page.
