Kabbalah4All Sephardic Congregation was established to connect people who wish to be part of a Jewish community which focuses on Kabbalah (Mystical Judaism). We are an online synagogue community with members in almost every continent. Our members have a voice in our community and are empowered through our services and studies to effect change in their part of the world--the idea of Tikkun Olam.
Kabbalah4All Sephardic Congregation is an inclusive and welcoming kehilah (congregation/community). We encourage participation from everyone who seeks to connect to and live the Jewish way of life. We are "A Place of Prayer for All People" and invite you to be a part of our community regardless of spiritual affiliation/background, race, ethnicity, gender, socioeconomic status, ability, age, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
Each year's operating budget is determined based on the congregation's expenses for the coming year including: our Rabbi, our website and marketing, study curriculums, server rental for our Kabbalah4All Siddur, and general operating costs. Our budget is divided by the estimated number of members to determine the "Terumah" (sustaining amount offering) that each member could pledge in order to eliminate a budget shortfall. This amount is shared with members before they make their annual pledges.
We understand that the Terumah may be beyond the means of some of our members, although others who are able will pledge the full Terumah or even more. As a fair share Kehilah we ask that you give what you can and pledge an amount that factors in (1) the value you place on Kabbalah4All, (2) the congregation's needs, and (3) your personal financial circumstances.
